The par 3-holes covering a lengthy distance and posing great difficulty in the golf course are particularly famous. Shenzhen Noble Merchant Golf Club is located on the right side of Shennan Highway. The main hazard of the court is water which is not always evident from the tee but nevertheless is most certainly there waiting for a shot hit off line. The 17th is a short 2460 yard par four. About 20 yards short of the green and slightly left is both water and bunkers. The sensible tee shot is to go right so that you leave yourself with a simple pitch to the green. The most daunting hole is most definitely the 18th. This 525 yard par five has a lake which stretches about 150 yards back down the fairway from the green.
The big feature of Noble Merchant is that all 18 holes are lit for night golf. Being only 18 holes are lit for night golf, being only a 30 minute drive from downtown, it’s very convenient to get to after work and so, every evening.

Course Features:
Much os the course is well wooded with a fine range of nature trees and so one couldn't ask for a nicer site on which o build a golf course. Normally we don't mention the clubhouse so early in our write ups since it is the golf courses on which we are meant to focusm but there is such a lot of character in the one at Shenzhen Tycoon, that it demands comment now.
The Californian style, the very attractive layout and the use of soothing colours such as brown and beige have combined to make this a very comfortable place for golfers to relax in. Several awards have already been given to this excellent clubhouse. Very little has been done to the original course. It is a very pleasurable course and most who play it come away with favourble comments. It appears that the lovely setting added to the different character that each hole seems to possess, makes for a thoroughly interesting round of golf.

This is one of the original clubs in China designed by Isao Aoki. The club has always been very successful and, not surprisingly, was buoyed by a large and active Japanese membership. Over the last 10 years the city of Shenzhen has expanded significantly giving the club the enviable status of a downtown facility.The 27 holes were always a tough long layout but, with so many new golfing developments taking place around, the club decided to have a major redesign a few years ago. This is one of the few seaside courses in China. Located in Boao Town in Hainan, the site has a bit of everything---sand dunes, sea, river and wind. The course is a veritable haven for birdlife and you are likely to disturb the peace of some wild duck if your ball strays too far off line. The views of all 7,019 yards are beautiful, and it is long enough to test the top pros, particularly with the constant breeze blowing. Like in Scotland, the rough is that long, stringy wild grass which tangles round your club making it very difficult to do anything more than just hack the ball a few yards back on to the fairway. There are so many places where sand dunes create natural hazards for the golfer. The 4th on this short par 4 is split by two fairway bunkers, and just to keep you on your toes a bunker has been positioned right in the front of the green so that all you have is a small area of putting surface protruding out to right and left. The only real option if you want to ensure your two putts is to play over the bunker with a short iron. There are many other holes and challenges and it is really well worth visiting.

Set against the backdrop of many tree covered hills, Yalong Bay is spread across the coastal plain, and there seems plenty of space for more than one golf course, you can feel more interested to play night light golf .The course is almost split by a series of small lakes that lie across the far end of the site. Trent Jones Junior, naturally, has used these lakes to good effect running the 7th,13th, and 16th holes alongside them for their entire length. The 16th is a classic hole. A par five, 540-yard monster, it squeezes the player on both the left and right sides. To avoid the lake on the right you naturally will play up the left side of the fairway, yet go too far left and you are ensnared either by a group of bunkers that protrudes out into the fairway or, worse still, the coconut palms. This is a really tempting hole for the big hitter. If he gets a good drive away, he will be tempted to go for the green with a shot over the water, but remember, the hole is 540 yards long, so you will need to hit a great shot. Similarly the 13th tempts the big hitter in the same way.

Four fairways of the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th holes are built along the seashore in succession.
The most challenging one is the 6th hole, which is par 4, golfers should pay special attention to this one. Though the teeing ground is set in a high position, the ball will be easily shot into the relatively large man-made lakes.
The 12th hole is another classical fairway. On the right side of the fairway is the endless sea. Set among some rocky, relatively barrent countryside, the course at Qingdao stands out rather like a green oasis. It looks like it must have been a major challenge to carve this course out and the end result is a 7,192-yard championship quality layout. The course sits there relatively exposed to the elements-there are no valleys for fairways to snake along nor much in the way of mature trees.
In the absence of such useful natural features the designers have concentrated on giving us a real golf course- full of challenge even for the game's top players, 408 yards and water plays a big part in its popularity. The par-5 13th hole is a double dogleg of some 536 yards. A creek runs along the left side and then diagonally cuts across the hole. The Billy Casper designed course has plenty of variety and is excellently maintained.

Yintao is one of the few golf clubs located within a relatively short drive of the business district. Clearly, with such a convenient location, they’ve installed night-lights and this has become very popular.
This is a Peter Thomson design and the characteristic rolling fairways and tight bunkers so much favoured by the five times winner of the British Open is very much in evidence on this extremely interesting layout. The course sets among ranges of mountains.In the first teeing ground, there are so many pine trees, with hills and flowers everywhere. Here, the golfers may feel relaxed while facing the beautiful lake scenery. However, it is not easy to get good mark in this par 4 hole. Ponds and trees are the most difficult hazards to overcome, and the green is unflat to bring vexations to the golfers.
The 8th is a short 155 yards par 3. But the green is surrounded by water, and sand bunkers lies everywhere, the golfer can only get to the green if he would take two pars.And the 10th and 18th are interesting with many sand bunkers around and natural valley beside. Designer Nicklaus is intended to test the second shot of the golfers.
