DAY 1 HONG KONG - GUANGZHOU
Travel from Hong Kong to Guangzhou by the morning train. After lunch,
join a half-day tour to the Dr Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, the historic
Temple of the Chen Family Ancestors and the Five Rams Statue.

DAY 2 GUANGZHOU - GUILIN
After breakfast, catch the flight to Guilin. Transfer to your hotel
for a delicious local-style lunch, followed by sightseeing around
picturesque Guilin - if time permits. (Breakfast + Lunch)
DAY 3 GUILIN
Spend the day gently cruising downstream on the Li River to the idyllic
village of Yangshuo (lunch is provided). After visiting a typical
local market, you will return to Guilin by coach. Dinner will be followed
by a lively show, starring traditional dances by Chinese minorities
in costume.

DAY 4 GUIUN - BEIJING
Visit the Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill and Elephant
Trunk Hill. Your flight to Beijing departs in the evening.

DAY 5 BEIJING
Today's day-long excursion captures the atmosphere of old Beijing.
You'll find yourself hiking along the Great Wall and getting a taste
of the majestic Summer Palace. After a typical Beijing-style dinner,
guests will visit the traditional Laoshe Tea House to enjoy the art
of brewing and drinking fragrant Chinese tea served with Beijing snacks
and soak up the local atmosphere with performances by regional folk
artists.

DAY 6 BEIJING
Today is your chance to roam through old Beiing's Hutong in an old-fashioned
pedicab followed by a visit to The Temple of Heaven. After lunch visit
the Forbidden City, with its treasure-filled Imperial Palace and imposing
Tian An Men Square. Dinner sees guests sampling classic Peking Duck.

DAY 7 BEIJING - XIAN
Spend your free morning shopping for exquisite antiques at a Beijing
mall. Transfer to the airport and then fly to Xian.

DAY 8 XIAN
The full day's sightseeing begins at the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum,
home to the breathtaking 6,000-strong Terracotta Army, the Bronze
Chariot and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. A lavish dumpling banquet will
be arranged for dinner, before the Tang Dynasty show in the evening.

DAY 9 XIAN - SHANGHAI
Today's visit is to the City Wall of the Ming Dynasty, followed by
a tour of the Great Mosque in the Muslim Quarter of Xian. Transfer
to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. You'll have some free
time in the evening to visit the Xintiandi: Shanghai's dining, shopping,
cultural and entertainment centre, bursting with the latest in stylish
restaurants, shops and galleries.

DAY 10 SHANGHAI
Tour the classical Yu Yuan Garden in the heart of the old city. After
lunch, you'll have a chance to explore the famous financial district
of Pu Dong. The day is topped by a stroll along the elegant Bund waterfront
and a visit to the Shanghai Oriental Broadcast Tower. After dinner,
you'll be dazzled by an amazing acrobatic show.

DAY 11 SHANGHAI - HONG KONG
The morning's activities include a visit to the Shanghai Museum. Transfer
to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong .
