Hong Kong is one of the two special administrative regions (SARs) of the People's Republic of China (PRC), along with Macau. It is a cosmopolitan city with a population of 7 million spreads over Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula, New Territories and over 260 outlying islands. The territory is located on the eastern side of the Pearl River Delta, bordering Guangdong province in the north and facing the South China Sea in the east, west and south.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1 HONG KONG - SHANGHAI

Fly to Shanghai from Hong Kong, transfer to your hotel and enjoy some sightseeing, if time permits. The evening gives you some free time to visit the Xintiandi, Shanghai's dining, shopping, cultural and entertainment Mecca - bursting with stylish, new restaurants, shops and galleries.

DAY 2 SHANGHAI
Today's tour encompasses the classical Yu Yuan Garden in the heart of the old city. After lunch, you can explore the Pu Dong district, stroll along the Bund Waterfront and visit the vast Shanghai Oriental Broadcast Tower. After dinner, let yourself be mesmerized by an amazing acrobatic show.

DAY 3 SHANGHAI - BEIJING
Visit the Shanghai Museum before transferring to the airport for your flight to the capital: Beijing. On arrival, transfer to your hotel, followed by sightseeing in this magnificent city - if time permits.

DAY 4 BEIJING
Today's day-long excursion captures the atmosphere of old Beijing. You'll find yourself hiking along the Great Wall and getting a taste of the majestic Summer Palace. After a typical Beijing-style dinner, guests will visit the traditional Laoshe Tea House to enjoy the art of brewing and drinking fragrant Chinese tea served with Beijing snacks and soak up the local atmosphere with performances by regional folk artists.

DAY 5 BEIJING
Today is your chance to roam through old
Beijing's Hutong in an old-fashioned pedicab followed by a visit to The Temple of Heaven. After lunch visit the Forbidden City, with its treasure-filled Imperial Palace and imposing Tian An Men Square. Dinner sees guests sampling classic Peking Duck.

DAY 6 BEIJING - HONG KONG
Enjoy some free time in the morning hunting for antiques at a Beijing shopping mall. Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Hong Kong.
