Hong Kong is one of the two special administrative regions (SARs) of the People's Republic of China (PRC), along with Macau. It is a cosmopolitan city with a population of 7 million spreads over Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula, New Territories and over 260 outlying islands. The territory is located on the eastern side of the Pearl River Delta, bordering Guangdong province in the north and facing the South China Sea in the east, west and south.

Day 1 Hong Kong Air Chengdu
Depart Hong Kong for Chengdu by air.
Visit Du Fu Cottage and Temple of Marquis Wu and Tomb of Wang Jian. ( Dinner )
Xigaze ( 1 Night ), Coach Lhasa (1 Night ), Air Chengdu ( 1 Night ), Air Hong Kong.

Days 2 Chengdu - Lhasa
Depart Chengdu for Lhasa by air in the morning.
Transfer to hotel for a rest upon arrival. ( Acclimatize to the plateau ). ( Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner )

Day 3 Lhasa
Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Octagon Street. ( Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner )

Day 4 Lhasa - Xigaze
Visit Drepung Monastery and Norbulingka Summer Palace in the morning.
Depart for Xigaze by coach. Stay overnight at Xigaze. ( Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner )

Day 5 Xigaze
Visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the Bazzar. ( Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner )

Day 6 Xigaze - Gyangtze - Lhasa
Depart for Gyangtze by coash.
Pass by Yangdok Lake and visit Kumbum Monastery upon arrival.
Return to Lhasa in the afternoon. ( Breakfast + Lunch )

Day 7 Lhasa - Chengdu
Depart for Chengdu by air in the morning.
City tour in the afernoon. ( Breakfast + Lunch )

Day 8 Chengdu - Hong Kong
Free time in the morning.
Depart for Hong Kong by air in the afternoon. ( Breakfast )
