CHINESE MERIDIAN MASSAGE
Although attention is placed on the tendo-muscular system, focus is on acupressure points and directional flow of the subtle
channels in the body. Chinese meridian massage is more than a system of relaxation and tension release. The focus is on the
subtle energy channels which influence the organs on a deeper level and treats complex complaints.

Abhyanga
Abhyanga is a light form of massage that does not involve muscle manipulation. "Abhyanga" literally means "application of oil", and uses herbs, oil, touch and friction to elicit a deeply relaxing effect on the nervous system. It has a balancing effect on allthree doshas or body types. It also helps mobilise toxins, promote youthfulness and increase energy. A steam bath or hot shower is highly recommended after this massage. Treatments include a seated head, neck and shoulder massage.

"Shiro"means head and "dhara" means flow. A flow of warm oil is poured continuously on the forehead.
